When the No.32 C&J Energy Services Ford Fusion arrives at the Talladega Superspeedway for the CampingWorld.Com 500 race weekend the familiar No.32 will have a different look. In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, the No.32 will feature pink where silver is normally seen.
“We are extremely proud to show our support for cancer awareness month,” said C&J Energy Services CEO Josh Comstock. “Not only are we doing it here at Talladega but we are running both of our NHRA top fuel dragsters wrapped in pink all month as well. It’s a great way to raise awareness and I think the Number 32 car looks amazing. I truly appreciate the GoFas Racing Team and Bobby being supportive of the cause. As Founder and CEO of C&J Energy Services, an organization with over 8,000 employees and a family culture, I’ve unfortunately come in contact with many amazing people, men and women, who have been affected by cancer. Recently my wife lost her father to cancer and previously lost her mother to cancer, so it really hits close to home for me. We need to find a cure and I’m supportive of anything that C&J can do to help. We are running Talladega in support of everyone who has had cancer impact their lives but there is one person in particular I’d dedicate this race to and her name is Candi Howard. Candi and her family have been through an amazing journey fighting cancer and their determination and fighting spirit have brought me personal inspiration time and time again. One thing I’ve noticed about everyone I’ve known who has dealt with cancer, directly or indirectly, is that they are all fighters and typically demonstrate a mental toughness that is absolutely amazing and inspiring. So for all of them, our cars will be racing wrapped in pink to show our support. Hopefully we can catch some luck and get Bobby, GoFas, and the C&J Energy Services Number 32 Ford out front with a good finish for this race. Battle Pink!!!”
