Dover International Speedway officials have announced that NASCAR will return to the Monster Mile in 2016 for two tripleheader weekends on May 13-15 and Sept. 30-Oct. 2.
The May 13-15, 2016 weekend will feature a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday, May 13; a NASCAR XFINITY Series race on Saturday, May 14; and a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, May 15.
The Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2016 weekend will feature a NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race on Friday, Sept. 30; a NASCAR XFINITY Series race on Saturday, Oct. 1; and the “AAA 400” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, Oct. 2.
The “AAA 400” on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016 will again be the third race of the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup and feature the first four eliminations in the 16-driver field. It will be the third straight year that the Monster Mile will host the first elimination race of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup playoff.

Tickets are on sale now for the May 13-15 NASCAR tripleheader weekend and deposits of as low as 10% can be made on tickets for the Sept. 30-Oct. 2 races.
