Team Focuses on Improving Intermediate Track Program
“It feels great to have another race added to my schedule,” says Truex. “I feel like we have some momentum after Charlotte, and I really enjoy working with Jon and the guys. Texas is a mile-and-a-half track that shares some similarities with Charlotte. I know the feel that we need in our Mustang to get a Top-10 run to close out the year. I really appreciate everyone at Biagi DenBeste Racing for giving me another chance to run this year.”
In Truex’s three starts this season, he has one Top-20 finish and two DNFs, but the results don’t tell the entire story. In both races with DNFs, Truex was running in the Top-10 when bad luck found the No. 98 Ford Mustang.
“Ryan has done an excellent job for us this year.” said Fred Biagi, Co-Owner of Biagi DenBeste Racing. “He performed well in each of his starts, and he showed us that he is a contender. We’re confident in his ability behind the wheel and are excited to give him another opportunity to race this year.”
Truex will hit the track for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway Saturday, November 7 at 3:30 p.m. ET. The race will be broadcast live on NBCSN.
