At home in the Lone ‘Starr’ State: TriStar Motorsports, NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) driver of the
No. 44 Zachry Camry, David Starr, will compete in his home state this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS). Being a Texas native has afforded Starr the opportunity to compete at his home track 11 times in the NXS recording his best finish of 15th in April 2014, where he also led two laps at the 1.5-mile oval during the same event. Not only is TMS Starr’s home track but it is also the home track of his Texas based sponsor, Zachry. With TMS serving a dual meaning for Starr, he is even more eager to settle in behind the wheel of the Zachry Camry and compete in front of the hometown crowd.
No. 44 Zachry Camry: Crew Chief Matt Lucas and the No. 44 Zachry crew will unload chassis TSM No.001 for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge. This chassis is new to TriStar Motorsports and will make its debut in Texas.
