Despite not being that far into his career, Morgan Robson Jr. has caught the attention of many fans, inspiring them with the special adage – never to give up on your dreams no matter what. Even with being restricted to a wheel-chair, Robson and team were able to put the right pieces together, installing hand controls in a racecar to allow him to compete.
Over the past three years, he has turned the heads of many, as he has continued to chase after checkered flags, and success.
Now entering his fourth season behind the wheel, Morgan Robson Jr. will be returning to the track that it all began, telling OnPitRoad.com late last week that he will be racing at Sunset Speedway in 2016. Robson will be one of the many drivers that will be part of the track’s Signs of Innovation Mighty Mini division.
With his return to Sunset Speedway, he is looking to have a clean race season, filled with close racing from start to finish.
“There are a lot of great drivers at Sunset these days, so its gonna be hard,” he added.
If anything can fall in place as he hopes, he is hopeful to finish in the top-10 in points, possibly scoring a heat victory along the way.
Beyond racing at Sunset Speedway, Robson will also run some events at Sauble Speedway. After running the first two seasons of his career at Sunset, he made the venture to Sauble Speedway last season.
“We had a great season last year at Sauble Speedway,” he commented. “(We) had a rough few nights but everybody has those eh? But me and my team learned a lot last year so we hope to bring the stuff we learned to Sunset and hope to do great there, too.”
