Ready to race: As any other diehard racer, the off-season seemed a little too long for veteran driver David Starr. Feeling refreshed and anxious for this weekend’s season opener at Daytona International Speedway, Starr will make his 75th NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start. Having seven previous NXS runs and recording 771 laps at the 2.5-mile oval, Starr secured his best finish of sixth place in February 2015. Paired again for the 2016 season, the No. 44 Toyota Camry will proudly display Zachry Group as primary sponsor with Frank Kerr, new to the TriStar organization, leading efforts as Crew Chief. With the No. 44 sporting flat white and varied shades of Zachry green for Daytona, Starr is focused and ready to settle in behind the wheel for the PowerShares QQQ 300.
No. 44 Zachry Camry: Crew Chief Frank Kerr and the No. 44 Zachry team will unload chassis No. 710. This will be the first run with this chassis at TriStar Motorsports.
