GAFFNEY, S.C. – JD Motorsports with Gary Keller is thrilled to kick off the 2016 NASCAR Xfinity Series season with long-time partner Flex Seal.
Returning to JD Motorsports for its fourth year as a marketing partner, Flex Seal will start the season as the primary sponsor of Ross Chastain’s No. 4 Chevrolet for Saturday’s Powershares QQQ 300 at Daytona International Speedway.
“We’re very happy to have Flex Seal back on board with us again this year, and I can’t thank Phil Swift enough for all of the support over the years,” said team owner Johnny Davis. “They have been a very valuable part in the building of our race team, and their products are used daily at our shop. We’re looking forward to our best season yet with Flex Seal, and it’s my goal to ‘seal’ us a spot in the Xfinity Series Chase.”
The JD Motorsports No. 4, 01, and 0 Chevys will fire-up for their first laps of 2016 at Daytona Friday for practice at 10:30 p.m. (ET). Two more practice sessions will follow at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Qualifying will be on Saturday, Feb. 20th at 10:00 a.m., and the green flag will wave for the 120-lap Powershares QQQ 300 at 3:30 p.m.
