Benny Gordon, in conjunction with his longtime sponsor and friend, Frank Varischetti are once again teaming up to try and better their 5th place finish in July of 2015 at the famed Daytona International Speedway.
“We are in this together” stated Gordon. Since Gordons first test and race in Daytona VSI has been on his cars and they all have been fast. Frank likes to stay involved with what’s going on with the cars and follows the progress closely. “It’s a real privilege that Frank gives us the opportunity to partner with such a reputable team as Tri Star Motorsports. Mark and Kathy Smith (Team Owners), are such great people, I’m incredibly excited for the opportunity to pilot one of their Toyotas.”
The Tri Star 14 Toyota Camry will have veteran crew chief Eddie Pardue calling the shots for Gordon. Gordon will also have teammate David Starr to draft and compare notes with. David has had several great superspeedway runs in Tri Star cars.
Associate sponsors on Gordons 14 will be Monna Mitchell with BWP bats from Brookville, Pa. Staar Trucking DuBois, PA, Trick Shot lubricant.
