INDIANAPOLIS, IND. (February 17, 2016) – Continuing a tradition of an on– and off-track partnership, Andretti Autosport Short Track announced today Window World® will return as a marketing partner of driver Jarett Andretti. Window World, America’s largest replacement window and exterior remodeling company, will once again increase its involvement with the third-generation Andretti racer and serve as a primary sponsor of Jarett in 30 open wheel sprint car races, including 13 United States Auto Club (USAC) National Sprint Car events.
Jarett, the 2014 USAC National Sprint Car Rookie of the Year, is already scheduled to compete in nearly 75 total events with the Andretti Autosport S Short Track Sprint Car program. Window World will be the primary sponsor of the No. 18 Sprint Car for April and May when Jarett will compete at various tracks throughout the Midwest. Window World will also be a year-long associate sponsor of the team. This year marks the fourth consecutive season that Window World has partnered with Andretti Autosport Short Track and Jarett.
“We’re really grateful for all the support that Window World and their franchisees have given us over the past four years,” stated Jarett Andretti. “It all started with my father and their support of him in NASCAR and IndyCar.The company’s been my biggest supporter since I started my career.”
“This year, we have a goal of getting more and more local stores involved as we race throughout the Midwest,” added Jarett. “We have an ambitious schedule of Sprint Car racing, but that’s something we wanted to do. I love to race, and this gives us a great opportunity to do more with Window World. We’re going to thank them by racing hard and hopefully getting a few wins for the organization on the track.”
In 2009, Window World entered motorsports with John Andrretti, serving as his primary sponsor in both the Daytona 500 and the Indianapolis 500. The company once again did the “500 double” with John in 2010 and completed the Indianapolis hat trick by backing him in the 2011 Indianapolis 500. Both Jarett and John have also played intergral roles in Window World Cares®, Window World’s Charitable arm.
“For nearly eight years, Window World has proudly partnered with the Andretti family,” said Chairman and CEO, Tammy Whitworth. “From sponsorships of both John and his son Jarett, to the one-of-a-kind IndyCar, The Stinger, we’re thrilled to work together, providing new and exciting experiences for our customers.”
Jarett, the grandson of Aldo and son of John Andretti, has championships in go-karts and the USAC Eastern Ignite Pavement Midget Series. He has also won Rookie of the Year honors at the Oswego Speedway in the supermodified class in addition to the USAC National Rookie of the Year. Jarett is an honors graduate of North Carolina State University.
