Starr seeks redemption in Fontana: Coming off of an unfortunate turn of events last weekend, David Starr and the No. 44 Zachry team have put Phoenix in the rear view and are optimistic about the last stop for NASCAR Goes West at Auto Club Speedway. Starr has 2 previous NASCAR XFINITY Series starts, completing 297 laps at the 2.0-mile D-shaped oval. He secured his best finish of 15th and led two laps during the NXS race in March of 2015. Hoping to have the same luck this year in Fontana, Starr is ready to tighten the belts and score his best run yet in the Zachry Camry.
No. 44 Zachry Camry: Crew Chief Frank Kerr and the No. 44 Zachry team will unload chassis No. TSM 1001 at Auto Club Speedway.
Appearance: Starr will participate in the NXS Autograph Session at Auto Club Speedway, front of main stage in the midway, Friday, March 18th starting at 4:15pm. The track will offer wristbands to 200 fans on a first-come, first-serve basis on Friday starting at 10:00am from these locations:
