As part of the Inside Track Short Track Night of Champions presented by Stoneridge Insurance, the Full Throttle Motor Speedway Champions were honored for their accomplishments.
Brandon Crumbie was honored as the Mini Stock Champion.
“I’ve always loved driving that place, always done well there,” he commented. “We kept ourselves together and do well all season. We also went and ran well at the invitationals as well so it was nice to represent Full Throttle well.”
Crumbie will be switching directions in 2016, as he will be heading to Ohsweken Speedway to run on dirt.
“It’s going to be wild,” he admitted. “We were looking at building a car, and then we won a raffle. It couldn’t get any better.”
Billy Lovell was honored as the Pure Stock Champion, stating it was an amazing season.
“I came back in honor of my father and managed to pull of seven victories and win the championship and now I’m here. So I couldn’t be happier,” he stated.
Lovell is also switching things up this coming season, set to run Sauble Speedway as he hasn’t ran outside of FTMS in his career.
Ryan Edwards-Kiss was honored as the Street Stock Champion.
“The whole field was pretty strong throughout the entire year,” he commented. “The top-five was pretty strong, and very competitive all year.”
He also confirmed that he’d be back in a street stock for 2016.
