There’s No Place Like Home: After a two week break, the NASCAR XFINITY Series will return to competition this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS). David Starr, native to the Lone Star state, resides in nearby Frisco and Friday will mark his 13th NXS start at the 1.5-mile asphalt oval. With an average start of 27th and an average finish of 25th, Starr led two laps during the April 2014 XFINITY race. Not only is TMS Starr’s home track but it is also the home track of his Texas based sponsor, Zachry. With TMS serving a dual meaning for Starr, he is even more eager to settle in behind the wheel of the No. 44 Zachry Camry and compete in front of his hometown crowd.
No. 44 Zachry Camry: Crew Chief Frank Kerr and the No. 44 Zachry team will unload chassis No. TSM 1002 at Texas Motor Speedway.
