Denny Hamlin was the fastest man in Bristol during final practice on Saturday Afternoon for tomorrow’s Food City 500.
Hamlin and the No.11 FedEx Toyota set a fast speed of 126.129 MPH ((15.213 Seconds). Rookie phenom Chase Elliott was second followed by Martin Truex Jr., pole sitter Carl Edwards, and Kyle Busch rounding out the top five.
Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Larson, Kasey Kahne, and last year’s Spring Bristol race winner Matt Kenseth rounded out the top ten.
Notables include: Dale Earnhardt Jr. 11th, Joey Logano 12th, Kurt Busch 13th, Brad Keselowski 15th, Ryan Blaney 17th, Austin Dillon 20th, and Jamie McMurray 25th.
Kyle Larson had the fastest ten lap race average in final practice followed by: Kyle Busch, Edwards, Hamlin, and Johnson rounding out the top five.
