NSCS: Joe Gibbs Sweeps Top-Three in AAA 400 Practice as Kyle Busch Leads

Joe Gibbs Racing has been fast all year so far, and that continued at Dover International Speedway as the organization swept the top-three spots in practice.

Kyle Busch led teammates Denny Hamlin and Carl Edwards for the first of two practice sessions on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s AAA 400 Drive for Autism. Each of the JGR drivers has won at least one race this year to lock themselves into the Chase for the Sprint Cup, with Busch winning last weekend at Kansas Speedway.

Ryan Newman and Kurt Busch would round out the top-five as both drivers looks to score their first victories of 2016.

Still searching for his first career victory, Kyle Larson was sixth followed by Martin Truex Jr., Chase Elliott, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kevin Harvick.
