On Tuesday, 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Kyle Busch along with NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Jarrett announced Busch’s No. 18 would carry the Interstate Batteries paint scheme for the Bojangles Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.
The throwback theme on the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Toyota will be an exact replica of the paint scheme Jarrett used in his 1993 Daytona 500, which was the first ever win for Joe Gibbs Racing as well as for Interstate Batteries.
This season marks 25 years since JGR formed a relationship with Interstate Batteries. The race will take place on Sept 6, 2016.
