Starting on pole, Dan Nanticoke didn’t look back as he led all 15 laps en route to scoring the victory in the Pro 4 Modified event.
Nanticoke pulled out to the early lead after starting pole, while Cliff Hodgkinson headed off track with mechanical problems. Craig Shaver moved into second ahead of Brian Nanticoke, Linc Erison, Aaron Turkey and Dave Hodgkinson. Turkey would get alongside Erison for fourth at Lap 3, making the pass a lap later. It wouldn’t last long, though, as Dave Hodgkinson made the move up to fourth at Lap 5 ahead of Turkey and Erison.
At the front of the field, Dan Nanticoke continued to lead the field with ease, pulling away, as Brian Nanticoke got by Shaver to move up into the runner-up spot at Lap 6. Unfortunately, Turkey’s strong run came to an end at Lap 11 as he’d stop on the backstretch with a problem.
Dan Nanticoke got a good restart and led the rest of the way en route to scoring the victory. Craig Shaver was able to get by Brian Nanticoke on the final lap to get second, with Dave Hodgkinson and Linc Erison rounding out the top-five.
