Team Penske driver and 2012 Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski became the latest driver to unveil his paint scheme for throwback weekend during the Labor Day weekend race at Darlington Raceway.
Keselowski’s No.2 Ford Fusion will adorn a 1972 design made famous by Miller Lite with a lighter shade of blue and a line of gold trim in between the blue and white primary colors.
“We’re showing the old-school Miller Lite colors for this race,” Keselowski said after pulling the cover off the car. ” … It’s very old school, and it’s going to be another fun weekend.”
There have been many paint schemes unveiled in anticipation for throwback weekend leading up to the Bojangles’ Southern 500 on September 4th. The theme for this year’s race is paint schemes from the 1975 to 1984 era of the sport.
