FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Yeley Set to Trick the Triangle: JJ Yeley and the No. 44 Zachry team will make the trek to Pocono Raceway this weekend to compete in NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) Pocono Green 250. Nestled in the Pocono Mountains, the 2.5-mile triangular track is famed as the “Tricky Triangle”. Pocono Raceway is a new addition to the 2016 NXS schedule but Yeley is no stranger to the three turns. The veteran driver has 16 previous starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) totaling 1748 laps. Hoping to capitalize on experience, Yeley is eager to take on the tri-challenge in the No. 44 Zachry Toyota.
No. 44 Zachry Toyota: Crew Chief Frank Kerr and the No. 44 Zachry team will unload chassis No. 1001 at Pocono Raceway.
JJ Yeley: “I think I’m most excited about having Pocono on the schedule over almost any other race track. As a driver having the responsibility to try and tune a race car to three different types of corners on the same race track adds an extra amount difficulty that we won’t see all season long. It will be a challenge and we are excited to conquer!”
