NAPA AUTO PARTS will extend its partnership through this weekend’s Chevrolet Duals in Detroit at The Raceway at Belle Isle Park on the No. 98 Honda of Alexander Rossi.
NAPA AUTO PARTS served as the Nevada City, California native’s primary sponsor in the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500, in which the rookie won as the checkered flags flew for the historic event.
“The entire NAPA family is extremely happy with the incredible performance of Alexander Rossi and the entire Andretti Autosport/Bryan Herta team,” said Tip Tollison, President of NAPA Balkamp. “With NAPA AUTO PARTS car winning the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 it only makes sense to continue to the race the NAPA colors in Detroit.”
NAPA AUTO PARTS was a late addition as primary sponsor of the Andretti Herta Autosport Honda entry in the Indy 500 last month.
“NAPA joined us just in time for the historic 100th Indy 500 and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with being able to provide them the win,” said Michael Andretti, CEO Andretti Autosport. “It’s great to see the partnership expand into a sponsorship for Alexander in Detroit and we hope to continue conversations and grow into an even larger relationship.”
