John Wes Townley paced the field in final practice leading up to tomorrow night’s Camping World Truck Series Rattlesnake 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Townley set a quick lap of 30..097 seconds (179.420 MPH). Just .079 seconds ahead of Kyle Busch Motorsports’ driver William Byron.
Spencer Gallagher always fast on the intermediate tracks finished third followed by Ben Rhodes and Matt Crafton rounded out the top five on the speed charts.
Johnny Sauter, Ben Kennedy, Christopher Bell, Cameron Hayley, and Parker Kligerman round out the top ten in Friday’s final practice.
Notables include: Tyler Reddick 11th, German Quiroga 14th, John Hunter Nemechek 15th, Timothy Peters 17th, Cole Custer 19th, Daniel Hemric 20th, and Rico Abreu was 23rd.
Matt Crafton was fastest in the ten lap race averages followed by: Cameron Hayley, Sauter, Gallagher, and Quiroga.
The trucks return to the track tomorrow at 6:00 P.M. ET for qualifying followed by the Rattlesnake 400 at 9:19 P.M. ET. Both can be seen on FOX Sports 1.
