At around 2:45 am, there were reports starting to leak that ThorSport Racing shop was on fire.
The team released a statement this morning, confirming a little after midnight on Monday June 13, a fire did break out in the basement of the shop. Thankfully no one was hurt in the fire and the team are cooperating with the local fire department as well as other officials to control the blaze and to asses for damage. The owners do not expect the fire to affect the competition schedule, and plan to be in attendance at the next race, which is on June 18 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa.
ThorSport Racing, which owns the trucks driven by Matt Crafton, Ben Rhodes, Cameron Hayley and Rico Abreu in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, is located in Sandusky, Ohio.
