The great season continued for Rick Spencer-Walt this past weekend as he scored his second win of the season at Peterborough Speedway on Saturday.
Walt started off the night in victory lane, scoring the victory in one of the two qualifying heats. Starting up front for the feature, Walt led flag-to-flag, holding off Chris Mitchell and Andy Kamrath in a late race green-white-checkered to score the win.
“We had our share of problems during practice and then burnt an MSD box out of the car right before the heat race,” Walt commented on the night. “Mark Gordon and his crew lent us one and we were able to make the first heat and win it. The car setup and handling wise was amazing all day and in the feature, the car was amazing.”
Notably in five races this season (four at Peterborough, one at Sunset), Spencer-Walt has now posted two wins and five top-five finishes.
