Carl Edwards is quickly becomingĀ one of NASCAR’s best when it comes to Road Course Racing.
The 2014 Sonoma winner and Columbia,Missouri native will lead the field to green in tomorrow’s Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway.
Edwards won the pole with a lap of 74.799 seconds (95.777 MPH). AJ Allmendinger will start second just .079 seconds off of Edwards’ pole lap.
Martin Truex Jr. will start third followed by: Kurt Busch and Kyle Larson rounding out the top five.
Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, Paul Menard, and Tony Stewart rounded out the top ten on tomorrow’s starting grid.
Notables include: Danica Patrick 11th, Brad Keselowski 12th, Dale Earnhardt Jr. 13th, Jimmie Johnson 15th, Chase Elliott 16th, Matt Kenseth 23rd, Austin Dillon 24th, Kevin Harvick 25th, Ryan Blaney 26th and Greg Biffle 32nd.
The Toyota/Save Mart 350 will close out FOX Sports’ coverage of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for the 2016 season with the green flag at 3:19 P.M. ET on FOX Sports 1.
