David Ragan will lead the field to green in tonight’s Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway.
Ragan, who was a last minute sub for Matt Tifft, piloted the No.18 Surface Sunscreen/Rugged Maniac Toyota Camry around the 2.5 mile speedway in 49.904 seconds (180.346 MPH).
Last July’s Daytona XFINITY winner Austin Dillon will roll off second followed by Erik Jones, Joey Logano, and Daniel Suarez rounding out the top five.
Darrell Wallace Jr., Justin Allgaier, Brennan Poole, Elliott Sadler, and Corey Lajoie round out the top ten on the starting grid.
Notables include: Ty Dillon 11th, Brandon Jones 13th, Ryan Reed 14th, Chase Elliott 15th, Brendan Gaughan 17th, Justin Marks 21st, Aric Almirola 23rd, and Joe Nemechek 25th.
The Subway Firecracker 250 will go green at 7:46 P.M. ET on NBC Sports Network.
