It may have taken James Stanley awhile to get his first win, but now he’s on a roll as he scored his second straight feature victory on Saturday night at Flamboro Speedway.
Stanley began his winning ways right from the first race on the night, scoring the victory in the first heat ahead of Wayne McKibbon, Brian MacDonald, Alex Cuzzila, Ryan Brown and Wally Wilson.
Alex Cuzzila won the second heat ahead of Stanley, Brown, MacDonald, Shawn Stanley, McKibbon and Wilson.
Come feature time, Brian MacDonald picked up the win ahead of Wayne McKibbon, James Stanley, Alex Cuzilla, Ryan Brown, Shawn Stanley and Wally Wilson.
MacDonald took the early lead in the feature ahead of McKibbon and James Stanley, as Alex Cuzilla and Ryan Brown rounded out the top-five. Stanley began to make his way to the front quickly, passing McKibbon for second at Lap 4. Cuzilla also made his way by McKibbon on Lap 6 to take the third spot.
James Stanley was able to track down MacDonald, taking over the lead on Lap 11. MacDonald now ran second ahead of Shawn Stanley, McKibbon, Cuzilla, Brown and Wilson. The shuffling continued as Brown got by Cuzilla for fifth at Lap 13. Meanwhile, Shawn Stanley’s solid run came to an end with two laps to go as he slowed with an issue.
Cuzilla third straight top-five run came to an end on the last lap, as unfortunately the rookie went for a spin.
