On July 11 it was announced race fans will be allowed and encouraged to attend the Verizon IndyCar Series test at Mid-Ohio Sports Course on July 21. Sixteen of the stars of the IndyCar Series are expected to participate in the test to prepare for the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio which will take place July 29-31.
The test is open to the public and anyone can attend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. only paying $10 for admission. VIP Season Pass holders as well as anyone who have already purchased to the Honda Indy 200 will get into the testing for free. The Keyhole, as well as the infield, will be open for viewing and a concession stand in the lower paddock will be open from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. RV’s, motor home or trailers are not allowed to enter the facility.
An access map along with more information will be given to the fans when they arrive at the track for the test. The teams that are testing will take a lunch break at noon and it will last exactly one hour.
