The NASCAR XFINITY Series took to the “magic mile” New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday Afternoon for opening practice for tomorrow’s AutoLotto 200.
Brennan Poole was fastest during the opening session with a lap of 29.469 seconds (129.248 MPH). Poole’s lap was .123 seconds faster than four time New Hampshire XFINITY winner Kyle Busch.
Justin Marks was third followed by: Brad Keselowski and Austin Dillon rounded out the top five.
Erik Jones, Justin Allgaier, Elliott Sadler, Alex Bowman, and Ryan Reed rounded out the top ten from first practice.
Notables include: Brendan Gaughan 11th, Daniel Suarez 12th, Ty Dillon 13th, Blake Koch 15th, and Darrell Wallace Jr. 17th.
The XFINITY Series will return to the track for final practice at 3:00 P.M. ET this afternoon.
