The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returned to the famous Eldora Speedway on Tuesday Evening for opening practice in preparation for tomorrow night’s Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby.
Tyler Reddick was on top of the speed charts at the conclusion of the opening practice with a speed of 20.977 seconds (85.808 MPH). Reddick’s time was .002 seconds ahead of Kyle Larson in second.
Defending race winner Christopher Bell was third followed by Rico Abreu and Bobby Pierce.
Matt Crafton, Daniel Hemric, Jake Griffin, Ben Kennedy, and Stewart Friesen rounded out the top ten.
Notables include: Cole Custer 11th, Cameron Hayley 12th, Cody Coughlin 14th, Brady Boswell 15th, Johnny Sauter 16th, Timothy Peters 17th, Ben Rhodes 19th, William Byron 20th, John Hunter Nemechek 24th, and Ken Schrader 27th.
Kyle Larson was fastest in the ten lap race averages followed by Bell, Pierce, Ben Kennedy, and Crafton.
Final Truck Series practice gets underway at 9:00 P.M. ET tonight.
