The NASCAR XFINITY Series’ all-time wins leader led the way in the series final practice for the Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Kyle Busch was quickest in practice with a fast lap of 50.976 seconds. Busch was also quickest in the day’s first practice.
Following closely behind Busch were his two Joe Gibbs Racing teammates. Erik Jones was second with a 51.100 second lap, and Daniel Suarez clocked in third with a fast lap of 51.171.
A pair of Chevrolets rounded out the top-five with 2014 Indianapolis winner Ty Dillon in fourth, and JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier fifth.
Rounding out the top-10 in practice were Kyle Larson, Dakoda Armstrong, Kevin Harvick, Elliott Sadler and Paul Menard.
The top-10 in practice was completely filled by Chevrolet and Toyota drivers. The fastest of the Fords was Joey Logano in 12th.
Qualifying gets underway for tomorrow’s race at 11:40 a.m. ET.
