After thrilling the fans at Flamboro Speedway, the OSCAAR Midgets are set to run their seventh race of the season with a trip to Peterborough Speedway.
James Stanley will be looking for his third straight victory, following wins at Sauble Speedway and Flamboro Speedway. He has been strong at Peterborough Speedway in the past, posting four straight top-10 finishes.
Wayne McKibbon enters this weekend with momentum following four straight top-five finishes. Notably, he just missed the top-five at Peterborough in May, finishing seventh.
Brian MacDonald has been strong at Peterborough recently, including a fourth place finish last year and eighth in May. He hopes to run in the top-five once again as he enters this weekend on the heels of four straight top-five finishes.
Alex Cuzilla has been solid this year, with only one finish outside of the top-10. He’ll hope to post his first career Peterborough Speedway top-10 on Saturday night.
Wally Wilson enters this weekend with momentum on his side following a fifth place finish at Flamboro Speedway. He was solid last May at Peterborough, finishing ninth.
Ryan Brown hopes to score his fifth straight top-five finish following a fourth at Flamboro Speedway. Unfortunately, his previous two races at Peterborough have resulted in a pair of finishes outside of the top-10.
Craig Deacon will make his 2016 debut this weekend, searching for a top-10 finish. His lone top-10 finish came last year in May at Peterborough Speedway with a seventh.
Zack Millman hopes to continue getting stronger, after posting a season-best finish of seventh in his latest start of the year.
Shawn Stanley enters this weekend with momentum after four top-10 finishes. He was solid in May at Peterborough, finishing sixth.
Bill Heatherton didn’t have the 2016 debut he had hoped for at Peterborough with a 12th place finish. Since then, he’s been a little stronger, posting a pair of eighth place finishes.
Darryl Anthony made his first start of the year at Peterborough, running into issues. However, he was able to things around with a sixth place finish at Flamboro in July. He’ll look to run in the top-10 once again after an 11th place finish at Sauble.
Monty Farrell made his 2016 debut at Flamboro Speedway a couple weeks ago, posting a solid ninth place finish. He’ll look to continue to get stronger this weekend.
Brian Woodland is hoping to score his second straight feature victory this weekend after winning earlier this year at Peterborough. He has done well in each of his past Peterborough Speedway starts, scoring a top-seven finish in his last five Peterborough starts.
Richard Woodland wants to repeat last year’s Peterborough Speedway success, as he won the event last May, while finishing third in August and fourth in October. He started off the year well, with a top-two finish in each of his three starts.
Larry Lawson hopes to break into the podium this weekend following a fourth earlier this year at Grand Bend. He was solid last year at Peterborough, posting a seventh place finish last summer to go with a fifth in May.
Along with the OSCAAR Midgets, the OSCAAR Pro Midgets, OSCAAR Modifieds and OSCAAR Super Lates will also be in attendance. Details can be found on the Peterborough website at http://www.peterboroughspeedway.com
