Kyle Busch looks to be ready to add another trophy to the trophy case as he swept both XFINITY Series practices on Thursday Afternoon at Watkins Glen for Saturday’s Zippo 200 at The Glen.
Busch ran a fast lap of 71.704 seconds (123.006 MPH). Busch’s lap was .007 seconds ahead of Kyle Larson.
Brad Keselowski was third followed by: Joey Logano and Justin Allgaier.
Paul Menard, Trevor Bayne, Brendan Gaughan, Erik Jones, and Daniel Suarez rounded out the top ten.
Notables include: Elliott Sadler 11th, Brennan Poole 12th, Ty Dillon 13th, Darrell Wallace Jr. 14th, Brandon Jones 15th, Ryan Reed 16th, Scott Heckert 19th, Blake Koch 20th, and Todd Bodine 25th.
The XFINITY Series will return to the track tomorrow at 10:00 A.M. ET for final practice.
