This past Saturday night, Wally Wilson put together a pair of solid runs, scoring a season-best finish behind the wheel of his OSCAAR Midget.
Behind the wheel of his OSCAAR Midget, Wilson finished second in both of his heats. Starting fifth in the feature, Wilson kept himself solidly in position, splitting Wayne McKibbon with Brian MacDonald at Lap 4 to move up to third. As the feature closed towards completion, Wilson tracked down Ryan Brown for second and got alongside him with two laps to go, though wasn’t able to complete the pass as they weaved their way through lap traffic. As a result, Wilson finished third for his second podium of the year and a season-best finish.
Behind the wheel of the OSCAAR Pro Midget, Wilson pulled off before the checkered flag in the first heat with a mechanical finish, while finishing fifth in the second heat. Starting seventh in the feature, Wilson dropped to eighth in the start, but was able to get by Brian MacDonald at Lap 8 for seventh, followed by a pass on Glen Blaker on Lap 14 for sixth. He then ran sixth the rest of the feature for his fifth straight top-six finish.

There isn’t much downtime for Wilson and his team as he will head to Grand Bend Speedway on August 20 with both his OSCAAR Pro Midget and OSCAAR Midget.
