Sam Hornish Jr. was the fastest man in Mid Ohio during final practice for tomorrow’s Mid Ohio 200 XFINITY Series race.
Hornish ran a quick lap of 84.695 seconds (95.977 MPH). Hornish’s lap was .338 seconds quicker than second place Ryan Reed.
Nelson Piquet Jr. was third followed by Ryan Blaney and Elliott Sadler.
Ty Dillon, Justin Allgaier, Blake Koch, Andy Lally, and Brandon Jones rounded out the top ten.
Notables include: Owen Kelly 11th, Brendan Gaughan 12th, Darrell Wallace Jr. 13th, Justin Marks 14th, Erik Jones 15th, Daniel Suarez 17th, Brennan Poole 19th, and Kenny Habul 20th.
The XFINITY Series will return to the track one more time today for qualifying which is set to get underway at 6:15 P.M. ET.
