KOOL KIDZ-CORR/PAK 360 SPRINT CARS (23 entries)
Bryan Howland of Auburn, New York stole the lead from Thedford, Ont. driver Shane Ross on lap 15 and held off the field on a lap 16 restart to earn the victory in the Kool Kidz-Corr/Pak 360 Sprint Car A-Main.
Ross led early after starting outside the front row with polesitter Chris Steele. Ross paced the first three-quarters of the race until Howland reeled in the point man in lapped traffic. Ross couldn’t get by the slower car of Lee Winger on the bottom of the track as Howland, the 2015 Canadian Sprint Car Nationals winner, made the winning pass against the cushion in turn four on lap 15. Ross settled for second ahead of Glenn Styres.

Porter led the opening laps of the rescheduled feature after starting on the pole. From there, she held off the field on a number of restarts, including a strong race from second-place finisher Mack DeMan of Mississauga, Ont. to claim the win.
In the second feature, Porter started third and had to track down Shone Evans for the second spot early. Porter claimed the lead on a lap three restart after the pole sitter DeMan led the opening three circuits. She never surrendered the top position over the final 12 laps despite DeMan’s best effort to retake the top spot over several restarts, but settled for second. Jesse McDonald completed the top three.

A scary wreck in turn one on lap three saw Mike Klazinga tumble and roll to a stop. He was uninjured. The restart provided a perfect opportunity for point leader Dave Bailey to jump to the lead and he did so on lap four. From there, Bailey cruised to a commanding win over DeBoer and third-place finisher Ryan Dinning.

HRW AUTOMOTIVE MINI STOCKS (36 entries)
The HRW Automotive Mini Stocks had a busy night on tap with twin 15-lap features as well. The first race was a make-up for the August 5 feature rainout. Chris French led the opening four laps of the make-up event, but point leader Mark Bazuin was the man on the move. Bazuin began to nurture a lead, but was reeled in by a lap eight caution.
Bazuin met his match in Brandon Crumbie on the restart as the latter driver clawed to the lead. After taking the lead Crumbie had to contend with Brandon Janssens in the closing laps, but never relinquished his spot on the way to the checkered flag.
In the second feature, Patrick Abrahamsson paced the field early after front row starter Joe DeBoer couldn’t get up to speed. Bazuin followed his earlier performance and again took the lead on lap five, this time for good. He held off Brandon Janssens and Abrahamsson to claim the victory.

GALE’S AUTO AFTERMARKET BOMBERS (21 entries)
The first Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bomber 15-lap feature was also a make-up for an August 5 rain-out. The field struggled to get through the first two corners, bringing out the yellow flag. Paul Longboat led in his No.188, but Wayde Thorne took the lead from him on lap seven and drove to the winner’s circle after successfully navigating through traffic.
Tristan Da Silva initially led the second feature, but was quickly pursued by Dustin Longboat. Wayde Thorne made it a three-car battle for the lead late in the race and created a three-wide battle on the final lap. Longboat emerged the winner ahead of Thorne and Da Silva.
