An “incredible” last minute sponsor deal will allow The Motorsports Group and driver Josh Wise to participate in throwback weekend at Darlington Raceway.
Incredible Bank will sponsor the No. 30 car for The Motorsports Group at Chicagoland Speedway as well as this coming weekend at Darlington, allowing the team to honor Dale Earnhardt during throwback weekend.
Wise will wheel an orange No. 30 Chevrolet wrapped similar to the one Earnhardt drove in the 1976 World 600 for Walter Ballard. It was Earnhardt’s second career NASCAR Grand National (now Sprint Cup) Series start where he would go on to finish 31st.
The Motorsports Group announced through the new partnership through their Twitter account Wednesday after a social media campaign began earlier in the week to try to find the team a Darlington sponsor.

The Motorsports Group becomes the 38th team to officially announce a throwback paint scheme ahead of Darlington. Only Brian Scott for Richard Petty Motorsports and Reed Sorenson for Premium Motorsports will not participate in the tradition that began last season.
