Kyle Busch claimed his 55th career XFINITY Series Coors Light pole during qualifying for today’s Drive for Safety 300 at Chicagoland Speedway.
Busch posted a fast lap of 29.878 seconds (180.735 MPH). Busch will be joined on the front row by his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Daniel Suarez.
Justin Allgaier will start third followed by: Elliott Sadler and Erik Jones rounded out the top five.
Paul Menard, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, and Ty Dillon round out the top ten on the starting grid.
Notables include: Brennan Poole 11th, Brendan Gaughan 12th, Blake Koch 13th, Darrell Wallace Jr. 15th, and Ryan Sieg 17th.
