After nearly a year off from competition, Japan’s Akinori Ogata will return to the Mittler Bros. and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at New Hampshire Motor Speedway this weekend.
Ogata’s return comes in the race he scored his best career finish of 18th last year.
Ogata brings sponsorship from ENEOS, Japan’s largest oil company. ENEOS first partnered with Ogata in the K&N Pro Series East division in 2012. The company is currently also partnered with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver, Kyle Larson.
Ogata’s return to the Truck Series will mark his first of 2016, and the fifth of the 43-year-old’s career.
