Jordan Anderson will make his season debut behind the wheel of the No. 12 Lucas Oil/Knight Fire Protection Chevrolet Silverado. After heartbreak at Daytona, he joined the list of drivers who failed to qualify for the NextEra Energy Resources 250, but with a never give up attitude, he will attempt to defy the odds facing some of the best in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
Defying the odds isn’t nothing new for the Columbia, South Carolina native. His entire career has been filled with adversity, and his story is one that inspires many of the up and coming drivers who are having to work for everything they gain. One thing that has remained the same with him is that he has never lost the faith in himself.
Anderson will start 28th in the Active Pest Control 200 later today for Rick Ware Racing. It will be his second start at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as he finished 23rd at Atlanta in 2015. He has a best career finish of 11th at Gateway Motorsport Park last season with Bolen Motorsports.
Not only will Anderson race in tonight’s Active Pest Control 200, but he will also make his seventh start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with RSS Racing. He was able to gain his second best career starting spot in the NASCAR Xfinity Series by qualifying in the 26th position. His best career finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series came at Chicagoland Speedway with Obaika Racing. It will be his Atlanta Motor Speedway debut in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
