Harrison Burton Wins Rain Shortened Zombie Auto 125

As rain fell from the sky, the cars were pulled down pit road, within a few minutes the Zombie Auto 125 had been declared official and Harrison Burton was declared the winner. In 17 starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, Harrison Burton has had three fourth place finishes.

Harrison was able to jump out to a large margin lead then the caution fell on lap 11 for the No. 11 of Ryan Truex. The green flag came back out at lap 15 then just a few laps later, at lap 17, caution flew when Chad Finchum made contact with the No. 41 Vinnie Miller sending Miller around. At lap 24, Colin Cabre was able to secure the lead over Burton but would lose it just a lap later back to Burton. Burton would keep the lead until the rain fell from the sky and the race was called official.

Short and sweet for Burton, but a win is a win. Ruben Garcia Jr. brought it home second, Spencer Davis, Hunter Baize, and Finchum rounded out the top-5. With the victory, Harrison Burton finds himself with the points lead, Hunter Baize moved up to second. Ronnie Bassett Jr. had a tire issue early in the race and fell to fourth in points.
