According to a report from Nate Ryan at NBC Sports Matt Kenseth will be driving the No. 6 Roush-Fenway Ford during the next five weekends which include this weekend at Kansas, the All-Star Race and Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte, Pocono, and Michigan.
Trevor Bayne is expected to return to the No. 6 car at Sonoma and Chicagoland with AdvoCare as the sponsor.
Kenseth has 24 career starts at Kansas with two wins, seven top-fives, and 13 top-10’s in his career. In the All-Star Race he has 17 career starts with a single victory in 2004. In the Coca-Cola 600 he has one career win coming in 2000, and a win in the fall race in 2011. At Pocono, Kenseth has one career victory in 2015 and 15 top-10 finishes. With three wins and 20 top-10’s, Michigan has also been good to Kenseth in his career.
Matt Kenseth will have sponsorship from Wyndham Worldwide this weekend at Kansas as he looks for his 40th career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series victory.
