  1. It really was more fun to watch the Xfinity regulars competing for the win instead of Cup drivers. If the Cup drivers want to compete so badly, let them drove for some of the underfunded teams and help them figure out how to make them better. Or do they only want ato compete if they have a big advantage?

    1. Hi Sal. Thanks for reading. I agree 100%. I have enjoyed these last two Xfinity races more than any in recent memory. When you add in the Gragson story, it makes it even better. As far as your question, I think Cup drivers are like any other person, they want to perform as well as possible, therefore, they would likely shy away from inferior equipment. When it comes right down to it, however, it probably has more to do with contractual obligations more than anything. Of course, there is also the fact that a driver does not want to look bad to potential future sponsors either. Not all marketing reps understand the difference between top notch equipment and B level equipment. They just see the results and the marketability. A winner gets more attention than a guy who finsihes 25th.
