Saturday afternoon at Watkins Glen International ended with Marcos Ambrose in Victory Lane for the Nationwide series Zippo 200. This win marked Ambrose’s fourth consecutive win at The Glen as he won it when he raced 2008, 2009, 2010 and today.
The Picks
Ashley McCubbin picked Marcos Ambrose, Kyle Busch and Regan Smith. Ambrose spun early but rebounded to win the race. Busch was also involved in that spin but was also able to rebound and finished second. Smith had a fast car for the majority of the day, but a loose wheel and overheating issues caused the team to lose a top ten finsihing position and finished 17th. Points: 39+38+23=100
Tayler Stiles picked Marcos Ambrose, Chase Elliot, and Brad Keselowski. Keselowski and Elliot were able to keep their cars clean for the duration of the race and finished fourth and sixth respectively. Points: 39+34+36=109
Kreistina Blinova picked Elliot Sadler, Landon Cassil and Elliot Sadler. Earnhardt finished 21, Cassil finished 33 and Sadler brought his car home seventh. Points: 33+19+7=59
Ronald Costigan picked Marcos Ambrose, Chase Elliot and Kyle Busch. Points: 39+34+38=111
Marshall Gabell picked Chase Elliot, Brian Scott, and Brad Keselowski. Scott continued his trend of finishing decently as he picked up his second top ten at The Glen, taking home tenth place. Points: 30+34+36=100

Joni Stiles picked Ty Dillon, Regan Smith and Chase Elliot. Points: 32+23+34=89
Tyler Sontag picked Chase Elliot, Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch. Points: 34+36+38=108
Jeni Harris picked Brendan Gaughan, Marcos Ambrose and Chase Elliot. While Gaughan might have won earlier this year at the first road course the NNS visited, he was not able to find that same luck and finished back in the 28th position. Points: 12+39+34= 85
