With the snow all melted, it’s time to get back after it for the 2014 season and one of the drivers who is ready to do so is Brian Love.
Love enters his ninth season of competition coming off of one of his best consistent seasons to date. Despite taking a weekend off for some family time last year, Love finished sixth place finish in points, actually tying with Terry Woodley for fifth. In 13 features this year, Love had 11 top 10 finishes.
“I think it was a good season,” Love commented at the end of last year. “I felt that we were reasonably competitive – only one DNF. When you follow the rules to the letter, it’s tough to compete. I’m happy. To finish sixth even with taking a night off, I’m happy.”
With this upcoming season already been stated as being Love’s final season, Love is certainly hoping to get to victory lane in both heat and feature competition – while of course having fun every week with sons Austin and Hunter.
Love will have support from Fox’s Bakery and Deli, Tire Depot Barrie, Simcoe Auto Recyclers, the Stone Grille Stroud and Eckert Auto Sales on his No. 04 Honda Civic throughout the whole season.
Be sure to head out to the track this year to witness the action yourself while following along on Love’s website at http://www.brianlove04.com and his facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Brian-Love/124101454387196.
