BROOKLYN, Mich. (May 2, 2014) — The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson on Saturday, May 10 continues to expand the number of participating breweries.
More than 30 breweries from across the state of Michigan will be on hand to highlight more than 100 varieties of ales, porters, lagers, stouts and wheat beers. Many of the participating breweries are distributed by Ann Arbor-based Rave Associates, a new corporate partner at Michigan International Speedway. The 2014 event will feature more than 10 new breweries.
The list continues to grow daily so be sure to check out the complete list at www.miwineandbeerfest.com.
The Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson is a celebration of Michigan wine, beer and food – all at Michigan International Speedway, NASCAR’s fastest racetrack.
“The list of breweries is impressive and we are excited to see so many want to showcase their beers at the event,” MIS President Roger Curtis said. “Michigan has become the hotbed for craft beers in the entire United States and is home to some of the best beers in the world. Many of those breweries will be here next weekend and for Pure Michigan beer lovers, the festival will be great because it will bring the best beers form all over the state to one location for tasting, buying and enjoying.”
Michigan wineries and food vendors will also be featured, making the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson a Pure Michigan event.
Curtis notes the Michigan Wine and Beer Fest presented by Experience Jackson kicks off summer at MIS and is conveniently situated in the southeast corner of the state, a growing area for wine and beer enthusiasts.
Guests may sample wines, beer and food from Michigan vendors, and buy favorite wines by the bottle or case. The festival’s on-site retail store will have select wines and beer available for purchase at the event. In addition to wine and beer sampling, seminars covering wine, food and other topics of interest will be held throughout the venue. Live entertainment throughout the day will also be featured.
This event will once again feature the tastes and toasts of Michigan wineries, Michigan breweries and Michigan eateries in a unique setting — the state’s only NASCAR Sprint Cup racetrack and the fastest track on the circuit.
