INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Flat 12 Bierwerks, an Indianapolis based craft brewery, is hosting a party at the track, the 2.5 mile oval one in Speedway, Indiana. The party will feature driver James Hinchcliffe and his beer, Hinchtown Hammer Down Ale and will take place on Fast Friday, May 16th, at a hospitality suite along the track’s main straightaway.
For just $60, suite ticketholders are invited to spend a day at the track watching the fastest day of practice, the day before qualifications begin. The Verizon IndyCar Series cars get out on the track for a full six hours, weather permitting, to make the final adjustments before attempting to place their car at the top of the scoring pylon during the next days qualification runs.
The Fast Friday suite will have a light appetizer/snack menu and will feature local craft beer from Flat 12 Bierwerks. This includes the brewery’s Hinchtown Hammer Down Ale, the collaboration pairing between the brewery and IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe. Hinchcliffe, one of the brightest young stars in the series, will make an appearance at the suite during the Fast Friday festivities.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and cars can practice from noon to six p.m. Suite tickets can be obtained by contacting Brent Cox direct at 317-258-6670. Space limited to first 80 with a ticket.
About Flat 12
Founded in 2010, Flat 12 Bierwerks is a production craft brewery based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Co-Founder and Head Brewer, Rob Caputo blends craft with technical expertise to produce an outstanding line-up of beers. The name Flat 12 is derived from the flathead 12-cylinder engine, a powerful beast of an engine, emblematic of Indianapolis’ turn of the century rise as an automotive manufacturing and motorsports capital. The “Bierwerks” Germanic spelling offers a nod to the strong German cultural influence, felt in and around the historic Holy Cross neighborhood Flat12 calls home.
