By: Ashley McCubbin — In his second ever event behind the wheel, Steve Love would get more laps under his belt on his way to finishing 26th.
The first heat didn’t go according to plan as he pulled the No. 40 Eckhart Auto Sales, Tire Depot Barrie and Garry Mercer Trucking Incorporated Civic into the infield with a flat tire. As a result, he’d be forced to run the b-main, where he finished 15th. As a result of his qualifying effort, he would start 26th.
Over the course of the 25 lap feature, Love would continue to log laps and learn more about his car, though unfortunately fell a lap down to the leaders early in the event. As a result of his effort, he was credited with a 26th place finish.
