By: Ashley McCubbin – Unfortunately, Steve Love would fail to qualify for the main 25-lap feature at Sunset Speedway on Saturday night as he did not get the finishing spot required in the b-main.
Love started his night off by finishing 11th in his heat to be sent to the first b-main. Love would show speed and potential, though a 10th place finish wasn’t enough to qualify for the 25-lap feature.
As a result of failing to qualify for the main event, Love would be one of the five drivers that would get to run the first “Little Feature” of the season. Starting second, Love ran a solid 10-lap feature on his way to finishing fourth.
