By: Ashley McCubbin – Terry Woodley would race hard the entire 25 laps in the mini stock feature at Sunset Speedway on his way to finishing 19th, unofficially. The track hasn’t released the official results so these are based on my notes.
Woodley kicked off his night by finishing sixth in his heat and then finishing fourth in his b-main to qualify for the feature.
Woodley’s qualifying effort would land him an 18th starting spot, in which he would race hard from and avoid the early trouble that others had to be running 17th by the first caution at lap 10. Once the race went back green, Woodley would hold his ground solidly for the next 15 laps, only losing one spot on his way to finishing 18th overall.
Special thanks to Lock Keys and Rekeys – Collingwood, Great Lakes Trophies – Collingwood, Collingwood Automotive Repair Services, Curries Creative Painting – Duntroon and Complete Welding – Thornburry for their support.
