June 11, 2014. There will be plenty of firsts for Canada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) and driver Joey McColm as the team heads to the Autodrome Chaudière for the first oval track event of the 2014 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series this coming Saturday, June 14th. The team will hit the track this weekend in a brand new #25 CBRT Dodge Challenger race car and it is the first ever visit to the quarter mile oval for the series.
Following several weeks of hard work and one track test session McColm and the #25 CBRT Dodge team have high expectations for the race this Saturday evening. “Our group has really worked to fine tune this brand new car” explained McColm. “Every day we learn something new and I’m really optimistic for a good weekend”.
Visiting a new facility for the first time always creates some uncertainty but the #25 CBRT Dodge team have worked to take out as much of the guess work as possible. “That’s one reason why we did an on track test” stated McColm. “We have a good starting point and that should help us get on top of things quicker during practice. I think we’ve really got a good piece and I’m excited to get going” he added.
The #25 CBRT Dodge race team will hit the track Saturday for afternoon practice and qualifying and then take the green flag for 300 laps of racing action at 8PM.
