June 10, 2014. Roxton Pond, Quebec native Andrew Ranger returns to action this coming weekend in the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series makes its first ever visit to the Autodrome Chaudière in Vallee-Jonction, Quebec this Saturday June 14th.
Ranger has kept busy during the last few weeks since the series opening event, most recently winning the ARCA series race at New Jersey Motorsport Park. “I like that track and it’s a lot of fun to compete at” said Ranger.
The event at Autodrome Chaudière however will be very different from the road course in New Jersey, consisting of 300 grueling laps on the tight quarter mile oval. “I’ve never been there before” said Ranger “but it’s always great to compete in Quebec in front of my home fans and race at the first event there”.
After qualifying on pole with a new track record at the opening event of the season in his #27 Mopar Parts Dodge Ranger had electrical gremlins strike during the race and is anxious to get back in action.
Andrew Ranger will hit the track at Autodrome Chaudière for practice and qualifying Saturday afternoon and then take the green flag for 300 laps of racing Saturday evening at 8PM.
